Go proven aftermarket products, not ebay stuff

When it comes to fuel delivery for our cars one product/supplier has the best reputation !!

And the original ....

Thanks for the help fellas. Yeah I think I'll bite the bullet and go for the surge tank option. Might have to wait a bit longer to save the extra $ but at least ill have the piece of mind knowing it's been done right. Whats another grand hey? ;-)

What's the deal with needing to have over half a tank of petrol for these different fuel pumps?

Like I've heard it before where it is "ideal" to have the fuel pump submersed but is this something that will cause damage as I regularly run the tank right down to almost empty before filling up (~5-10LT in tank most times I fill).

No I think the idea is that if you dont have some sort of surge tank and the car is tuned then you run the risk that when the fuel is low in the tank the in tank pump won't be sucking up enough fuel and you'll lean out.

The surge tank options prevent this from happening

Ahhh that does make some sense for sure then!

Running out of fuel is different to having your foot to the floor and running out of fuel I assume? That can/would cause engine damage?

So where would you recommend I go with my car if I want 300kw? It has the 4 speed so that's the max I believe and it's a nice number too :)

I was wishing to achieve this with exhaust, valve springs, injectors, intercooler, new intake and any other small supporting mods.

Would a fuel system upgrade be advised for me going this way?
