bionicxr6t05 Bronze Donating Members 2,216 Member For: 13y 5m 6d Gender: Male Posted 17/03/13 08:01 AM Share Posted 17/03/13 08:01 AM Remove rear wheelsBack off cable from underneth the car until the handbrake levers sit on the backing plateRemove rubber grommet in discTurn starwheel through the hole anti clockwise turning disc with a screwdriver occasionally until very light contact is made between the shoes and disc, you will hear it rub when you turn it. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. You only want a small amount of contact. The levers should only be able to come off the backing plates 5-8mm.Next tighten the cable until there is no slack between the cable ends and handbrake levers. Refit wheels.
