The Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club was raided on Friday, concerning its patron, federal Liberal MP Warren Entsch.WARREN ENTSCH, FEDERAL LIBERAL MP: I think we need to be just a little bit careful that there is no over-zealous, if you like, enforcement on these laws. Plenty of bikes in the road. Saw a group of at least a hundred. Bought a smile to my face. Normally don't like the sound of a sh*tbox Harly. But today that sound sounds like a tad rebellious and if people exercising their freedoms. Smiling. 2 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/84314-proposed-tougher-hoon-laws-for-qld/page/7/#findComment-1437773 Share on other sites
Spinning Donating Members 348 Member For: 15y 11m 21d Posted 03/11/13 09:00 PM Share Posted 03/11/13 09:00 PM I am feeling sick - very sick in the stomach ..........I understand , I have done **wrong** so yes, I understand that I will incurr a fine and have a manatory loss of licence - but to take my car and crush it - WTF !! I am sure , it doesnt matter who you 're , whether it is the first , second and or ? offence , there is going to be a point where you are either going to stop doing what it is you are doing , or you are going to have to sell that car - as clearly you 're unable to help yourself , and it is too easy to tickle over the speed limit in a boosted car than a Corolla .. - not there is anything wrong with a Corolla.. But to take my car - following a second offence - why ?? a short sprint up the highway - 15sec of smiles - and you are what ???? - going to crush my car ............' I couldnt imagine how I would feel, and what I would do in that instance' ........I can not understand , how someone with a spotless record , can commit a offence , finds his car impounded , and then due to interpretation of **one** , find in a second offence to have their car impounded and or crushed ? ............still feeling sick !! Who is it that we are trying to penalise , who are we trying to teach cure their actions?, what is the ultimate goal of all of this ? Bring back the days of common sense - and stop hitting everyone with the same stick to cure the behavoiur of a few Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/84314-proposed-tougher-hoon-laws-for-qld/page/7/#findComment-1437951 Share on other sites

The media are portraying it as if the swat team were there with bolt cutters and angle grinders forcing their way in. It was a mere compliance check to ensure there were no outlaw bikies present or display of colours etc. If anything exciting went down there'd be plenty of footage of it - but alas there is none. I don't agree whatsoever with the draconian legislation, but a bit of perspective from all sides wouldn't go astray. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/84314-proposed-tougher-hoon-laws-for-qld/page/7/#findComment-1437959 Share on other sites
