what are the chances of contamination being the problem with the failed injectors, Bosch have their EV14's listed as ethanol compatible

Hi mate, theres always some chance of contamination, but if it was from contamination it would have to be from some additive that united use with e85, I did do some test with the e85 at home, I poured some e85 in a 500ml glass left it in a heated area an let it sit till all fuel evaporated, I did this to see what it would leave behind, it left about 10ml of sticky brown goo, mabey that is getting left over on the injectors, at one point I did have a black goo built up on outterside of injector..

Who knows, there could be heaps of reason of why this is happening, but mainly from doing research an speaking to other people that have run these type of injectors, they all tell me to rip em out , they all have had dramas at some point off time with them.

This is only happening with these type of injector, the id1000 an siemens, ev6 black opps, dont seem to suffer one bit, I have mates running them for years without drama using united e85.

Well my mind now is on these black opps m133 ev6 1400cc injector, but theres also these new type that can take all oxygenated fuels its called blue max an there 1600cc and high impedence, release date sould have been now but they havent released it yet.
