CCCC miso xr6 Donating Members 317 Member For: 15y 10m 27d Posted 09/03/13 07:14 AM Share Posted 09/03/13 07:14 AM Hi guys, I keen to know what type of injectors people are using or prefer to use for daily e85 usage.Reason I ask is because I have been using the bosch ev14 2000cc injector an it seems to me from my experience with these injector they do not like e85, just from one day use of e85 my 2000cc injectors will shut close or stick, I have had 3 injector failures already and iv pretty much had it with them.Now I wonder if anyone has experienced the same issues iv had by using these type of injectors or any other types, by doing a bit of research it seems that there are lot of people that have had the same issue as me, it seems that issues arise because of a rubber seal inside the injector swelling by using e85 or fuels containing mtbe or are either oxygenated.Anyways from what I can see the problems are only arising from using the bosch 2000cc or any other type of ev14 2000cc injector, so my questions are can anyone recommened a injector of similar size cc, there are a few other names out there like denso, siemens, dietchworks, has anyone used these other types injector? The US guys rave about them they are purpose built multi fuel injectors and come in sizes ranging from 750 to 2000's.I've been running them for over a year now and never had any issues.Even Toads rates them now.
