I think we'll see more and more people tuning with Hp, Ive been getting great results with it and so have many DIY users I now know.

These days with money being tighter and tighter, if you can save 800 from not having to buy a storage unit, that's 800 on other parts.

People need to understand that all these software programs access the same pcm settings, some more some less but all are capable of making the same power, its the tuners input that makes the biggest influence.

Seems the IDs are now the injectors of choice along with SCT tuning software.

Can't go wrong with genuine ID1000's and SCT as long as it's one of two shops. XFT or MT.

Sct is alot more suited to our car especially with someone who knows what there doing

SCT would appear to be the weapon of choice. It definately has the runs on the board.

3 out of 24 replies here alone have recommended SCT. Just quoting.

And the statement "you get what you pay for" rings true in a lot of instances. And is indeed a fairly large generalisation. For example, I know of a lot of members who have paid good money for products, and have been messed around with delivery times, or missing parts, all because they tried saving a few dollars, or were promised the world. Sometimes, if you spend a little more, you will get good service, all of your products will arrive as promised, and in the long run you will save money, as you are not getting dicked around.

It would appear that the OP has already spent 2500 on his tune, it now appears that he is going to have to spend more money to get his car to run the way he wants. If the OP spoke to a few people, did a bit of research, asked a few questions, maybe he wouldn't have got burnt. I feel sorry for the OP, but unfortunately there are some sharks out there that are quick to take your money, but not deliver as promised.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I hope this clarifies everything Chris.

Seems like a good analogy to me? Also rings true based on my experience trying to do things on the cheap and unfortunately not getting what I paid for.
