I used an eBay probe thermostat inserted into the filler. Cost was $2.00

I also replaced my steel pan with a new from ZF BMW Steel pan that has a drain and filler integrated into the pan.

Makes subsequent services so much easier!

I went all CSI on that and this is what I found

cheers luke I was on the fleebay hunt to no avail

deff getting one as it will save bucket loads of mess

if u get a price luke and location share the love :P

I did this as well

I went direct to ZF Office/Service in Wetheral Park NSW. Just gave them a call and they were more then happy to help, also very knowledgable. It was $284 from memory

The kit included the shorter bolts, a gasket and a filter
