yeh still wouldn't sell it to me, so rang motospecs and ended up being cheaper.. all set up for the service now...

That's really weird. Maybe they stopped selling direct to the public at the start of 2014 cos I got mine back in Dec.

shame they don't sell direct anymore. Worked out better in the end for ya though

Was quoted $695 for 20L drum for LF6 at motospecs.... Anyone know anywhere cheaper besides ZF directly who wont sell to public? I read a long time ago on this forum someone was importing it from America (not even sure if you are allowed to import oil like that). Any help is appreciated.

Did a dump of my Gulf Western today, the first one after changing out from LG6.

It probably still had a little LG6 in from first change out.

It's only been 20,000k's or so, I thought it was more like 30,000.

The dump color of GW 20,000k's

Shifts feel really silky smooth with the fresh GW, I think I will dump every 25,000 - 33,000k's.

You might think that my oil change is a little excessive.

The fact that the GW was still more then likely contaminated with LG6 from the original flush.

As they say proof is in the pudding and my box feels sweeeet!

F#ck sealed for life or 100,000k's

GW western changes 25,000k's, @ $125 for 20L so $30 odd a flush, that's a win!!

they really do love fresh fluid don't they? I had my tuner drop the pan at 80 thousands clicks and top up with martini fluid when the trans cooler went on.

Did another dump at 125000ks or two weeks ago and it's feeling real nice again. I'll probably change it every 50 thousand from now on.

Each time you fill and flush is about 4.5L.

Planning just to dump and refill, I have 5.5 litres of LG6, can those in the in the know pls confirm that 5.5 will be enough oil ( as I would hate to not have enough).

Thanks.
