Boganspeed Will do skids for food Silver Donating Members 1,177 Member For: 13y 3m 21d Gender: Male Location: Perth SOR Posted 07/03/13 07:17 AM Share Posted 07/03/13 07:17 AM If you're parked on a hill and the weight of the car is on the trans, this will make it bang when you take it out of park.Try it on a flat surface.I know someone who repeatedly complained to Expensive Daewoo about a car doing this and they kept saying they couldnt fault it.One day, she took me to lunch in it and when it banged as she took it out of park and said " See ?! and they reckon nothing's wrong with it".They were right, she was parked on a hill and the trans in Park was holding the car, not the hand brake.
