In the early years of the Ford Turbo's the APS system was a single 90 then it ran into into twin 63 at out of the first muffler - and the system was noise compliant.As for 16 PSI back pressure - that is a lot in an aftermarket system IMO even with the power levels noted. I assume the testing was done at full power?A rough test on just the rear muffler off the twin 63 Manta shows very low readings (under 2 PSI) but at much lower power levels. Your twin 2.5" probably was the one that came out with the restrictive rear muffler.. This was fixed in later products..
