Ahhhh I see now why this thread got so long so fast, heh.

My BFII is ex highway patrol from WA, the manual has a big sticker over the entire back page saying so, that's how I can tell.

Got new turbo just as warranty was running out (90 thousand kms and 2.9 years lol). Still worked fine but I asked Simon to check it out and it was "a little noisy". That was it up until 190,000km where I've just had valve springs replaced (needed doing for a while...) and XFT found my timing chain guide broken and chain jumped one tooth. Non engine failures - all of the suspension components flogged out due to high kms. Front right wheel bearing went at 100,000km, rear left at 170,000 or so, I forget now. Pedders reckon there's not much wrong now aside from small amount of play in steering (most bushes replaced with superpro over the last couple years). Have new suspension waiting to go in (Konis/Kings).

I heard from a friend that the ex highway patrols car run a f6 tune for more power how do you tell if it has an f6 tune ?

All cop cars, no matter what make have the famous "Cop Chip"

How would a FG XR6T cop car be able to run a F6 tune with it's different injectors and turbo?
