Out of work and a few quid in my pocket so I'm going to cross a few things off my Bucket List this year hopefully.

Why would I not be out looking for a job straight away?
My oldman kicked on a couple of years ago aged 64 just short of retirement, he was always talking about the trips he and mum were going to do but never quite got there.

In no particular order except the first:

Prague
I have a strange drawing to Prague and I dont know why, but I really want to go and it will be done by years end.

Great Barrier Reef
Being an Aussie and never been there I spose I should..
Noosa
as above
Cairns
as above
Uluru Ayers Rock
as above
Darwin/Kakadu
as above
Perth
as above

seen the rest of Aus.

New Zealand
North & South

SEMA-Vegas.
Combo deal not till Nov will probably spend 2 weeks there. Probably second on the list. Probably last on the list when I loose all my money...

Burning Man
May not be there at the right time as its 3 months before SEMA

Hollywood
Who wouldnt/must do cars & coffee.

Disneyland
For the kid in me, I know there are better parks but they were never around when I was a kid.

Grand Canyon

Nashville Tennessee.
This ones for the oldman he was a big country fan and I dont mind listening to it either.

New York
Obvious really...

Niagara Falls

Washington

London/England/Ireland?Scotland

France

Germany
Autobahn/Nürburg

Rome/Italy

Greece

may do a boat trip for the Euro junket...2 cousins are off in a couple of months on one so looking forward to hearing details.

Japan

Machu Picchu
This ones out there...but I have a question I need to ask them...

Maldives
Another one thats out there, I'd feel like a bit of dork goin by myself I think..may do Bora Bora instead.

Thailand is a maybe.

So do you think there is anything else I should be adding...

hell yeah brother, if you dont take the opportunity when they arise, you'll never get the chance.

its good to see you turning the negative (job loss) into a positive and travelling while you can.

we did USA last year, SEMA would be absolutely frickin unreal! Vegas is cool enough.... let alone all that! I think Carrol Shelby's factory/museum is in Vegas too? maybe try and squeeze in a NHRA top fuel round too....

We werent fans of Disneyland. Maybe if we had kids with us it would have been different. NY was fantastic. Muscle beach/santa monica pier is supposed to be good too. I'd hire a muscle car, start in Hollywood, cruise over to Vegas, and live it up.....

Id love to go over and watch Isle of Mann. And maybe Sturgis/Daytona bike week.

On ya dags!!

I'm probably not your age but watching my old man fight cancer after working like a crazy bastard his whole life (he's 10 years off retiring) made the wife and I start thinking the same..

I can't really add too many ideas to the list but a few lads I work with went to Burning Man and reckon its the best trip they've ever made and these are fellas who've done just about every crazy Thai full moon sex party or whatever they are..

I'd love to go to Japan and the UAE but that's me..

22 years with the one company, 4 weeks notice, 450 odd hours of sick leave and 620 odd hours of long service, enough to keep me comfortably happy off work for a year and a bit....

Unless I get a little happy with the Hols above.
