I've tested all the wiring with a test light. The ignition source (spliced off cigarette lighter) is strong and the ground seems to be strong (screwed to a sanded area of the aluminium framing behind the dash). The sender wire is very dim on the test light but I assumed this was because there is not much pressure as the car idles. However, when I rev it I though the signal would increase but it doesn't. Can anyone suggest where I'm going wrong? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/84181-help-installing-oil-pressure-gauge/ Share on other sites

Try that and test outside cup holders.
