Just for a laugh my car passed an IM240 test at XFT yesterday too. Twin cats in the manta and a good tune I guess :-)

Not sure what you mean, didn't see it going. He's recently installed the 5 gas analyser I think which he was testing? And the Mainline bloke was there showing him how to run the throttle to "keep the circle on the line" as it measured, sounded like a video game how Simon described it.

it's a simulation, not a recognised official test, this is a feature mainline have had for quite a few years, I know one company that gas kits, they run the cars up and adjust according to the simulation and then send them for official testing, normally most will pass 1st go after setting them up with the mainline

Oh yeah no epa people there, just simon and the mainline guy. I didn't actually require the test, car happened to be on dyno at the right time! Gives me more peace of mind though especially with you saying most cars pass the official test if prepared on the dyno.

Ive got the twin 3 inch manta and found its got louder as its got older, I sent it back in the first 3 months of owning it because I got e.p.a. they replaced it for new, but the same is happening again getting loud... I've had people tell me

it sounds like a jet ski.. If I had my time again I would have gone the 4 inch nizpro...

I have twin 3"... it sounds ok. theres a clip in my ute build thread of it.

Manta do not make this system in mild steel they told me.

Its a great bit of gear, bolts in very well, good clearance. I'd buy it again.

cant wait to hear it at full noise..
