-carty nutter Member 1,966 Member For: 21y 1m 15d Location: Wagga Wagga Posted 08/01/04 11:46 AM Share Posted 08/01/04 11:46 AM well, you wouldnt think it, but yes, there was a GT head (just one side) on an XR8 at work a while back, some people out there are prob thinkin "whats the big prob with that" but they have diff valve or cylnder sizes, and it throws the timing out...I know that ford did this to 2 cars by accident, and they put out a notice about it to all the ford dealerships, just wondering, where about was the other one, anyone here that works at a dealership know where the other was? or if it went to thier dealership, just curious (I think it was in vic that it was found, but that's just a wild hunch)BTW, im located at Temora NSW.
