matty

what made you use main lube?

not sure if you mentioned this or not

Used all the others before and for the most part I was pretty much using Brad Penn only.

But I went and visited the guys at mainlube and ended up chatting for about 3 hours!

This was around the time that I had my ZF getting built and I was hell bent on finding a better oil for it than the Life Guard or Trans Z.

So in the end I walked out of their with 13 litres of their 154 Gearbox oil and OMG that stuff is good and still is!

These guys love all things high performance and when Steve mentioned while were on oils that at some stage I should try their 10w60 Egine Oil and I was like 60 and he said yeah you'll love it!

So that's sort of how the whole change to Mainlube came about and also the fact that they'll test your oil for you and let you know what's going on in your Engine,Gearbox and Diff.

Mate give em a ring or better still grab some of their goodness!

Not cheap but you get what you pay for don't you.

Hey Matt,

My ZF is up for a full flush and I'm looking into manilube, after speaking to Aaron down there im pretty excited to use it, just want to clarify how much oil ill need to do the full flush, I don't want to get too much, but I don't want to be left with not enough.

I've read of people using up too 17L and people using 8L, so just a little confused. I'm assuming 17 is for complete flush and 8 is just to change what's in the pan/converter?

It's a BF with the standard cooler setup if that makes any difference.

Thanks, Joe
