Have not heard of anyone using them though. Look similar to the superpro one's but appear to be easier to install due to not being steel cased outer bushes. Rootster Just a large member member Silver Donating Members 3,125 Member For: 16y 4m 6d Gender: Male Location: sydney Posted 26/02/13 10:41 AM Share Posted 26/02/13 10:41 AM I did mine ..Its a *beep* of a job...I wouldn't say its hard but just heavy work..It took 6 hours on a hoist with a rattle gun and I'll never do it again..I used nolathane bushes..New improved ones on the market that slide in for the centre bush and 2 piece for the outer to tap in with a hammer..Have a look at the bushes as the 2 smaller ones come with a washer and may have to fitted in between the bushes..Read instructions before starting as you need to know the postion of the bushes to see if washer should be fitted or not..Pay careful attention to the way the hand brake cable sit and where to refit clips..I took photos just to be on safe side..If in sydney I know someone who drops the cradle for about $300..add the price of bushes and removing the diff from cradle works its way up to about $600-700..Pm for his details.. I understand its a large job but I can't afford to have it done by a shop, ive got access to a hoist and am a hd mechanic myself so thought id save some dosh and do it myself. I am going for more power soon aswell so I really do require a bush that's gunna put up with punishment. I'll post a pic tomorrow of my bush and its condition (resembles that of a roll of rubber put through a blender) lol got to the point where its actually disturbed the diff casing gasket and its now leaking diff oil all over the driveway... not a happy chap hah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rolled it out on a trolley jack. Did all the bushes though and was a major improvement. Took all weekend and about 2 cartons of beer. We took it very easy though. Most of the time was doing the suspension arm bushes/rose joints and making a tool to install the side diff bushes. Dropping & reinstalling the cradle out took very little time.Replace the axle seals while your doing it. Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 4m 3d Posted 26/02/13 10:41 PM Share Posted 26/02/13 10:41 PM I think I might have seen a tutorial on the ford forum but don't quote me on that!I think the main things to be wary of are that you note the exact position of the cradle before you drop it out and make sure it goes back in perfectly centre otherwise if/when you go to bigger wheels you don't want to find one side scrapes and the other is fine.And as guys mentioned you need to mark the current position of the bushes so they go back in the exact same way. The guys that did mine learnt that the hard way when I realised a month later they were in wrong so they had to do the job all over again out of their own pocket 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
