I don't think that these piller mounted pods are illegal because they're not in the resticted vision area above the streering wheel. But correct me if I'm wrong Ponch, Curious.

Probably the best place to go would be somewhere that stocks a couple of different model types. They may not be for the XR6T but surely you could get one that's close.

Also try looking on the Autometer web site.

There's an auto supply mob in Adelaide that retail them, I've got a catalogue here from them I'll have a look for it over the weekend if I remember.

They also have an online store but I cant remember that either.

Dagabond that would be wicked if you could find that link :)

Well most coppers don't usually bother with A-pillar guages if they are mounting in a pod properly, that said I've had a set of auto-meter gauges mounted on my dash for the last 4 years and only once been warned to remove them if I didn't want future police trouble, however I haven't removed them and never had any troubles.

cheers anyway, I think Autometer make universal pods, I might pop into autobarn and see what they think.

Matt

I posted here a while back some info mainly about the dash top guages but the same mob did A-pillar ones as well but I can't recall the name of the company and I have chucked out the brochure. They were very expen$ive.
