The photo of the tire .I know its on the back but I moved it to the back only to drive it to the tire shop and get them replaced..I was lucky with the guard it polished out..Wheel alignment was out a little ,and the car has ssl king spring on all four corners...so it lowered about 1 1/2 inches

did you notice the nittos bulged more?

so the tyre didnt fail, but worn through on rubbing and/or bad camber on the fronts?

The nittos always looked flat..Everyone alwasy made a comment that the tires needed air..It got to a stage I bought a tire pressure gauge just to prove to people they didn't...So I have to say yes to the nittos looking bulged more..

Based on the photos doesn't look like a tyre issue, rather two high an offset on the wheels and/or tyres were a bit flat and were flexing heaps around corners to rub that bad.

The tire only failed cause it rubbed through...The rubbing marks on the front part of the body are getting to the top 1/2 of the wheel,so I cant see how low air pressure and flexing would effect the tire so high up..Its STD ford rims on the car and std tire size no off set change..The bloke at the tire shop said he has never seen it happen before..Had the front end checked ball joint and the rests of the bits are all okay,so no excessive movement in the front end..Fark me has to be my car that thing turn to sh!t..lol
