Finally decided to take it to Ford. It ended up being a small bit of plastic the rotates the air doors behind the dash, it had snapped. Apparently a fairly common issue. So they just replaced it and has been all good since. the computer knew what the issue was and threw a code. Have the same problem and im just out of warrenty....I got an error code b1242 from memory.
