Race brakes is doing a deal on another forum for $2000 for 6pot brembos with discs, pades, lines and obviously brackets from front of an FG! Also have a customer their upgrading brakes for and has 4pot fronts and single rears off an F6 for $2500 with under 500kms on them! That's a good value upgrade too

I wont be taking my xr6t on the track but I still want some damn good brakes for the street especially because I tow with it a fair bit and the standard brakes are woeful. Wanted to ask has anybody tried the vmax slotted rotors? And has anyone had problems or have opinions on the EBC Redstuff pads vs the Ferodo pads? Any experience and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Also comparison between brembo pads made for standard fg calipers and bendix ultimate pads?

They can increase the risk of rotors cracking. From memory, this DBA guy recommended a Bendix pad but there will no doubt be others that help to dissipate heat.PAH

Obviously I will need new hoses. I have 17" Tickford rims. Thanks in advance for any info...

Calipers just swap sides. Make sure bleed nipple is up. Yeh I think 17 is min. I think I used the FG hoses, cant remember. Just trial fit. Obviously if the FG hoses work use those as they will be newer.
