Going through insurance and they want to repair not replace. Thanks in advance.

Ive had other alloys repaired on the wifes Merc and wasnt impressed with the finish.FPV appear to have machined lines on the lip that look distinctive that I hope can be replicated. Let them repair, then complain like all hell if it is not PERFECT - you didn't ask for the bus to hit your car.

Has the bus company admitted liability or are you doing it off your own back?Or are you trying to us 'Wheel and Tyre' insurance that you may have purchased with your car? They can fix buckled wheels, re-paint and machine the lip so it looks good as new. If they cant they will straight up let you know from the start.Virgin Wheel Repairs in Sydney is where our stuff goes.
Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 29d Posted 17/02/13 09:53 PM Share Posted 17/02/13 09:53 PM I think it depends on the wheel repairer. I had gutter rashed repaired on one of my wheels and it was a polished stainless lip and they did a sh*t job. I think as long as you find a good repairer then shouldn't be any worries

Shouldn't be a problem
