Its got a little lcd screen you carry with you that messages you if anyone hits the car etc.I thought it was pretty cool...and if I remember correctly the price was about $1500 or there abouts. I'll be looking into it more when I get my T in feb.

I had a BRANT alarm installed on my FTO for 4 yrs before I upgraded to the T. Highly recommended and have had no incidents at all (knock on wood!).Cost was $600. Check out their website here.Their was only one problem with the installation. Every 15 mins the alarm would go off! It was narrowed down to the Ford computer sending a signal to the boot circuit to turn off the light (just in case the boot had been left open). The fix is to put a diode to stop the flow of current and hence not trigger the alarm. Obviously they now know about it for all future installs.CheersRob

Posted 08/01/04 10:51 AM Share Posted 08/01/04 10:51 AM I have been looking at a Boomerang Alpha 2002 Alarm. Has anyone heard of or had these b4? You can see them at http://www.incaroption.com.au/Always sounds good when you see the marketing. Who do you go to for an unbiased opinion?

The thing to look out for is the immobiliser. The more points the better. The BRANT has a 3pt immobiliser and can be upgraded to 6 I believe. I had a quick look at that Alpha 2002 website but couldn't find where it said how many point immobiliser it has.CheersRob
