Keep My 2007 Bfii Typhoon Or Upgrade To A 2012 Fg F6...?

Hi,

As the title says I've been thinking about upgrading my 2007 BF MkII F6 (Rspec) to a 2012 FG MKII F6.

My Typhoon's in immaculate condition with around 37k on the clock so I think I might be about to get around 35k for it? I've seen some 2012 models for around 55k so it would be around 20k to swap over.

My concerns are that Ford will be bringing new products to market soon. I also don't want to buy one now if FPV are bringing out an Rspec model. I could keep mine which is completely stock still and turn it into a monster by spending around 7k on it.

Opinions...?

I've thought about doing the same but unless you have money to burn I'd stick with the BF. FG may be a nicer car but a typhoon has an aura about it. Everyone knows them, they go really well, and look better than FG imo.

Spend the 7g and you'll have a car that feels like a new one.

No way that the dinosaur ba-bf styling comes even close to fg styling.

Knoles you on crack son.

Much much improvement in visuals and hard parts over the early girls.

After owning both you can defiantly feel the difference in huge ways, light years ahead everywhere.

The ba-bf to me resembles the mechanics and drive of an AU still.

Depend what the money matters to you. I just made the decision to spend around that amount on my bf f6 as opposed to upgrading. I'd rather the extra 13k in my pocket. Takes me too long to save that amount. If I was richer I'd have a FG gt or f6 in a heart beat.
