You got no choice but to put an ally reservoir but I have seen a setup somewhere where they completeley got rid of that reservoir and used what I think was a radiator cap/overflow setup.With my ally heat shield, I got high temp silicon flexible heat shield material (the one with silver foil on one side and red on the other) and glued it onto my ally sheet with red high temp silicon just in an attempt to reduce heat.That tubular manifold is a good design.
