true its settled then however in saying that if I do choose to get a manifold and I do make more power on the same if not less boost would that some how make my motor last longer than a setup with a stock manifold running more boost??

Would make a marginal difference if your pushing it your pushing it won't change much

I have a very similar set up to what you are referring to, my set up consists of a etm tuned length manifold gtx3582r turbo an 48mm external wastegate.

Using this set up I managed to make more horse power with less boost, much quicker spool, and great boost control.

Its not all about power. A high mount tubular manifold will cook everything around it. Your bonnet paint work, your master cylinder and other bits and pieces. So if you are just want moderate 400kw save your time fixing up the above.

I was stuck on 380rwkw in 2010 with to4z comp wheeled gt35 put the low mount 6 boost manifold on with exact same setup made 403rwkw and the sound and power delivery was allot more exhilarating

yeap tune and manifold only changes ran this setup until last week when the oil pump let go
