Mate, that is awesome! You will be running 10's soon too! Switch over to E85 and your there! I gather you just went a billet 76 comp wheel? Go the little snail :) Did you just bang it in drive and nail it too?

Kind regards Jon

Yep.. billet wheel.. it measures up at 61.4 which I pretty sure is the standard 3582 size wheel. Don't quote me but Im pretty sure that's that's the spec.

Im also running atomic cams...

The thing just wants to rev! Its insane !!

E85 is tempting and a no brainer for a 10..but still alittle too scarce around Sydney and I don't really want the inconvenience...

But sooo tempting...

Yep..actually performance mode... It was revving way past peak ...

And as I stated previously... last runn of the night I muffed it

Ultimately Id like to snare a 10 on 98 and true street tyres.. oh..and 20's !! lol

Too much to ask???

yeah you will bagg a 10 mate, go the E85. Its not that bad, I am still getting 11.8 economy out of her on E85 with plenty of right foot still.

Nice times bud, especially on street tyres

Kind regards Jon

Well, John gave me the opportunity to drive this beast yesterday, and all I can say is wow! The response of the GTX76 is f**king awesome, and John definitely swayed me towards going the G6ET path in the future with the 76, much more responsive than my (old) BA. Talk about luxury express!

Cheers!

Hey Lee, glad you liked it :) Still got a few little tricks to do to it which will hopefully result in a tiny bit more power. Its an awesome combo for the street.

The mrs is loving the BA over her turbo Liberty, she wants a 76 on that lol. You definately know how to look after a vehicle mate. Catch up soon :)

Kind regards Jon

I'm glad the car ended up going to someone who can appreciate the effort I put into maintaining it, and not to some young dick who would end up wrapping it round a tree or light pole!

Lee, I dont believe I even saw a BA xr6t that clean when I was service manager at Ford some 10 years ago and they were near new lol....

As for convincing the Mrs it has been a project in the making for a very long time lol. It wasnt an easy task but now she loves it. She keeps hasseling me for the intake whistle of my FG lol.

Sorry I havent posted anything on the G6 for a while, have been real busy with everything else of late. Im about to finally do my new cooler along with a 12psi accuator can rather than the 8 and see if we can bump it up a bit from 400rwkw. The 76 is past its efficiency zone but I reckon theres a couple more wasps hiding in it. Will post some pics of the build soon. Take care all :)

Kind regards Jon
