you will notice that the cooler pictured is tube and fin as opposed to bar and plate technology. the std XR6T has a bar and plate intercooler (too small) APS have stayed with the newer style bar and plate as there is more surface area cooling for a given area ie smaller cooler requried for a given temp drop over core

Jeezuz...back in my day...

I remember splooging a load at the first dyno day we had and the boys from APS did a big arse burnout in reverse out the front then slammed her into forward motion while she was still spinning and disappaered in a cloud of smoke up the street.

Back before friggin mobile phone cameras....
