Especially given the shady history with kw ratings. Even on this forum (full of enthusiasts) many don't race their vehicles down the 1/4 mile. At a guess I'd probably say 90% don't...that doesn't mean they aren't interested in what their vehicle can do. Sure most of the people buying them are older and it will never see a drag strip, but when Expensive Daewoo or anyone make such claims doesnt it have to be truthful.. We know the GT is capable of mid to high 300s at the wheels with injectors, K&N filter and a tune but placing a warranty on that is a different story. Love to the see Ford stick a Super Roo sticker back on the GT but the fact that they're not guaranteeing a Falcon after next year makes it hard to see them spending more time and money trying to match the GTS.
