Just saw a vid on the Camaro ZL1 (same engine as the upcoming GTS)done by GM engineers last year.An auto and a manual at a drag strip achieved best runs of 11.96secs(117mph) for the manual and a 11.93secs(116mph)for the auto. Both cars were fitted with drag radials.

I would say a bone stock GTS should at least do very low 12s?

since when did the GT make 335 at the wheels?? wtf

Guys have you done your figures??? 430kw is only 300@ wheels Fpv come stock 335@ wheels So they are still gonna be slower than the gt Hsv are probably gonna be heavier with all their gadgets And about $50,000 dearer too Hsv owners will be disappointed when they still get beaten by the gt The only benefit will be the sound The 6.2 litre does sound nice with an exhaust

Holdens suffer more from dealer-delivery power loss than drivetrain loss...somehow a lot of their killowasps disappear between the factory and the road.

Ford on the other hand are renowned for being very conservative with their ratings.

One of the articles published today is suggesting that new GTS will have a 0-100km/h time the same as the supercharged GT (with ~100kw less). Hilarious.
