plenty of tuned xr6t's wouldnt take this on ....

Yeah that's pretty obvious.. But I think the point most people are making is that the stock 430kw would be very attractive to someone who didn't want to risk a defect for modding a car.. I guess alot is gonna depend on the rwkw figure though..

I seriously doubt that FPV will match or come near to those power figures. It has more power and torque than the BMW M5 and E63 AMG however they may still be a tad faster to the 0-100km/h than the GTS.The only way I see Ford beating these numbers from the GTS is to import the more powerful Mustang engine..... that's not going to happen.

From the Herald-Sun CarsGuide there is a little more information mentioned such as 5 stage stability control and the 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brakes!

Fark imagine one of these stock in the hands of a 20 year old fresh off P's

We all know they are the best drivers. Thanks Mummy

Guys have you done your figures???

430kw is only 300@ wheels

Fpv come stock 335@ wheels

So they are still gonna be slower than the gt

Hsv are probably gonna be heavier with all their gadgets

And about $50,000 dearer too

Hsv owners will be disappointed when they still get beaten by the gt

The only benefit will be the sound

The 6.2 litre does sound nice with an exhaust

Although most of the attention is centered with FPV Vs HSV I wonder what people in M5s, Audis RSs and Mercs AMG would be thinking? These cars that can cost more than double the GTS would have to think twice about taking on a GTS at the lights or down the drag strip.

I am remember a while ago reading about a factory intercooled version of the GT with substantial power improvements.

Wonder if this will be FPV's answer?

The Expensive Daewoo driveline is very ho hum now I pitty the parts bin 6speed auto now and crusty dana diff

Unless there has been a substantial up grade in these areas

HSV may have an ace up its sleeve but if its only avaliable in the HSV clubsport r8 MK 4 type R model its kind of like the W427 in regards to how many will be sold and actually seen/driven

Hsv needed to make this as Bogan special minimum !!!!

WTF! Where did you pull that figure from? 430=300on the wheels? It will run high 11s stock..

Makes about 350on the wheels in testing.

Farking 300on the wheels... Now you are talking like a real farking Ford Fanboy.

And not heavier, it's actually 70kg lighter than the VE GTS!
