Expensive Daewoo leaving ford behind again.... well. not literally. ford will step up with something to rival- but as usual, the follower- not the leader...

I like the front and inside. the rear is average...

its always good for something like this to come up though, makes the game interesting...

Definitely need to see it in the flesh, the Calais looks a bit much like a cruzodore from the rear. Aggressive body kits from SS and HSV should fix it up though. Lots of good technology, there's going to be a lot of that in the next few years.

Power will be interesting, lot of Expensive Daewoo fans know they need something special to beat the gt 335, and xr6T

Personally I think HSV would of heard all the name calling of its Pride and joy. I hope they go "euro".. blend it more with the actual body..as they did with the classic VT series.

But on the opposite end..Pharkit your right. The technology and features that were available in the VE were streets ahead of any ford. HSV really raised the bar with their track telemetry , adjustable shocks etc

I purchased my FG XRT purely based on its performance.. yes its a handsome vehicle.. but sometimes it lack of features has me muttering to myself ..why?

Another examply is the VE SS's Engineering mode.. flick of a switch and you get all your vitals on a screen. Ford.? FPV threw in a boost and oil temp guage!! Woo Hoo..

Anyway.. Im working myself up.. deep breathes ... lol

Not a fan. The technology is nothing new, for an Australian built car it is ,but focus and mondeo have had the same technology in them before and the next falcon will have them as we'll , but improved from they are now

Expensive Daewoo saying it the most technologically advanced car built in Australia , I would have to be its called progress ,

The next falcon will be more advanced again

I just wonder how much tacky sh*t hsv will throw at it.

Cringe at the thoughts

I think HSV designers don't know when to stop. More grills, more lights, more scoops, and when you have done that add one more of everything again

I like, looks very Euro and is probably by far the most advanced aussie car built.

Rear looks like a silvia crossed with an RX8
