I have a K&N filter on my XR8 and have run an XR6 Turbo cold air intake into the standard XR8 pod filter so it now draws air from two places. Makes a nice difference to performance and as a bonus makes the exhaust sound better as well. Definately worth doing.

I am going to try a BMC filter in mine. Probably with an induction kit from Battens. Waiting to hear back on price with the BMC.

Iwas thinking about the same thing but seeing how my car is part of a Salary Sacrifice and the fact that I will probably change cars later this year I figured it might be smarter to just try changing the Filter element.

I would be very interested to hear how yours goes if you proceed.

Cheers, Bazza.

Don't have a digital camera but you can buy the kit from Batterns Performance. The whole kit with the K&N will cost about $200. Send a PM to GT-P as he owns the place and get the e mail address from him as it has pictures on it. Takes about 45 minutes to fit.
