VF Late model camira is being revealed on 10th Feb and I can't imagine that it will be too long before it is on showroom floors. For that reason I would hold out buying a VE because when VF is released the remaining VE stock should go pretty cheap.

If you are concerned about fuel Economy have a look at the 2.0L EcoBoost FG. You can get 2012 plated G6 demo for around 30k and both power and economy is better than the 3.0L VE.

Also real world Economy for the 3.0L vs 4.0L is not as good as the tag on the windscreen may suggest:

Don't even consider the Holden, their sh*t. Can't even put a set of extractors on them, and they break timing chains. Not to mention were they locate the thermostat. If buying Falcon don't get the 5 speed auto, their rubbish.

Vw's arent very reliable though lol we have a vw dealership and every 2nd car either has a blown engine or a blown gearbox, same with renault they work in our workshop and their hoists are constantly taken up by cars with gboxes out...
