Only surges slightly and only at first start up when stone cold. Coolant is green and clear as. Car has only done 33k but has had 300+ and ZF tune for over 12 months now. I can get it professionally done for $350. Time to do it me thinks. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/83881-zf-slipping/page/3/#findComment-1375024 Share on other sites

It's now by far the best it has ever been. Always hung on more than I liked with light pedal, even after the ZF tune. Not now. No surging or other quirky stuff that it did every now and then. The report was very good. Nice and clean inside - no metal etc. Maybe the level was never right from new? Anyhoo, highly recommend getting it done. I'll get rid of the factory exchanger very shortly now also. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/83881-zf-slipping/page/3/#findComment-1375411 Share on other sites
