You might find the install was not done correctly as I am sure they are sterio.

I use the FM transmitter on mine as the sound quality SUX through the AUX port.

I get heaps of engine noise, pretty poor, should ask for my $65 back hit me up for a $2 cable and plug :gooff:

ZAP try running your aux cable a different path, its probably picking up induced noise from a power cable. My ipod through the aux sounds just as good as the cd player.

You may just check to see that the input plug is seated correctly into the Aux jack. If it is partially out then there is the possibility that it can play through only one (and the wrong) channel. A similar problem could also affect the plug form the Aux jack to the head unit.

I run a HP PDA through the Aux input and it sounds great.

Regards,

aa

I have the same prob as Zap and tried alll different ways to route the cable. I have even tried to isulate the wires and that failed as well.

All I get is what sounds like alternator whine.

I was reading an old review on the XR6T and it talked about the stereo volume being speed dependent.

How do you activate this? Is this the Power limiting section in the menu - needs to be switched to on?

Cheers
