All the kit consists of is instructional sheets and a wiring loom with 3 connectors.1 plugs into Ipod1 plugs into the AUX plug under dash1 T's into a connecter behind the dash to get power to charge IpodI dont think theres a need to amplify the signal as its not coming from headphone jack, its coming straight from the large ipod connection. Sound is passable but you can still hear hissing and whinning sound. I think I may have damaged the wires from pulling the cable as connection cuts out often. It still hisses and whinds when you drive. IT has a booster switch which makes a little bit better but still you can hear the hissing at low volume and between songs.
