A CD full of 320kbps MP3s is way better sound quality then when they come from my ipod.

And the ipod navigation on my car sucks.. no fast scrolling.. takes about 5mins to get from A-D in the artists sections. It's impossible to navigate when you only want to play a particular album.

Have to agree. Thanks to a f*cked iPod connector/module/whatever I've gone back to the MP3s and it's allot simpler. Only issue is the time it takes to load and then extra second of silence between tracks.

Hi,

I'm having problems getting my car (FG F6) to see my ipod. It was working fine for months but ever since the last time I disconnected it from my car it no longer see's it.

I've tried restarting the ipod while its connected and when its not but I just cant seem to get it to work.

Does anyone know of this problem and maybe a solution?

Thnx in advance

Check your ipods connection.

I always have trouble with the usb cable connection on all our ipods/iphones - as they are not protected/covered they can easily get crap in the connection.

See if this helps..

About to go through this with the dealer next week. Originally wouldn't play in track order unless you selected your album/playlist before plugging it in. Now the fckin thing just doesn't work.

tabby,

mate im sure that there IS prob an issue with the HU, but check that there isnt any crap in the cable/connection on the ipoo'ed...

Mine just did it again today - went through 4 cables we have here (to many ipoo'ed)... and it was only playing up on my iphone - cleaned the connection and away the PC went and detected the thing...

I know its not in an FG but rather a PC connection - but it really is the biggest problem I have found with the ipoo'eds and syncing/charging/connection blah blah blah...

Be interested to know if this does help at all in any way...

:roflmbo:

Half fixed it; ignition off - pull fuse #21 (bluetooth/tech pack) - ignition on - ignition off - replace fuse - ignition on - bob’s your uncle. Got the inspiration for it from something posted here about the iphone bluetooth...can’t find the original poster though so will just have to take the credit for it myself.

Have tunes again now, so give that a shot Whisky
