I have the 80G Ipod Classic and have owned my FG XR6T since August 08. The Ipod integration has been awesome and never given me any problems. All my songs appear alphabetically. My only gripe is that if you have a number of albums for one artist and you want it to play continuously through the albums you can't (unless you change the album name so it's all the same). No big hassle though.I have DVD movies stored on my Ipod and would be over the moon if you can play them. I was only in the dealership yesterday too (just to get something else looked at (clutch pedal spring needed lube)). xr6t 4 jam Member 9 Member For: 15y 11m 8d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 25/03/09 11:56 AM Share Posted 25/03/09 11:56 AM Just popped out to the car to check for you - so the unit was already plugged and controlled from the head unit.The playlist for your Ipod name seems to run alphabetically by song name.The playlists for the genres I have set up seems to play in the listed order but by artist name (ie - if I had say ACDC and the Angels listed under the Rock genre, it will play the ACDC songs before the Angels songs; the ACDC songs are listed in no specific order - the order corresponded to the way it was listed in Itunes on my macbook)Playing in the listed order also seems to happen for if I select say to play the songs of a particular artist.Does this help? Even after the vehicle is turned on and off it remembers where it was up to and keeps playing in the correct order...until you change playlists.
