Got my car's iPod updated today...WOW is all I can say.

Suddenly my iPod Nano is 100% compatible with the FG's interface.

Now when I tuen the car /off/on the iPod does the same and the controls work as does the song display.

I did notice that a music video option shows up on the menu in the ICC, so I think I will need to download some to see if they will display.

hey mate.

u can use an aux input. it just a cable that plugs in from behind the fuse panel. there should be two plugs. also for handsfree. just go to your local ford dealer and ask them. they can help you. or ebay. a few on there too. you will be looking at around $35.00. this is what I use. works great. about a 45 min install. hope this helps mate.

I just got one from ASL on ebay, $15 for a 3.5mm audio plug to the factory aux. Not amplified or anything fancy but seems to work perfectly in my BF2.

You can use the normal stereo volume controls but to control the ipod you still need to use the ipod itself.

.....pick up one of the new generation Ipod classic 120GB units.

Does yours play everything in the order you specify in playlists etc. (track order) or alphabetically?

Just got one last week and it lists and plays the songs alphabetically unless I start the album/playlist playing before plugging it in. And it's driving me friggin nuts!

The dealer assures me it's got the latest firmware/software/whatever in the ICC...but think I may have been fed porkies :banghead:
