It's an '04 BA.I keep hearing that all the systems whine.Ford offers a Ford badged product with what looks like a small pre-amp for $90. Includes cables, volume wheel etc....Is this the go, or is there something better?regardsDaking

DaKing Member 150 Member For: 20y 3d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 10/10/07 06:09 AM Share Posted 10/10/07 06:09 AM senna TThe kit I was offered had a wiring loom, a small box 5cmx5cmx2cm, a cable that plugs into iPod with what looks like a volume control wheel in the center of cable plus a whole lotta instructions. Price quoted was $92.Is this the kit to go for so that I don't get the free banshee?Daking No it wont.As soon as you add a power source it whines like a banshee!!I was 10min from buying the boosted kit until I read this- I have an aftermarket amp in the car. Will the whinning sound be more evident. Also will it fit a gen1 apple ipod or would I have to another adaptor.

So....are you calling Dags an idiot? You never answered the question. BTW: 10% is fine with me, the September installment must be just about to expire
