The 'deal' was put down in front of me, which was the window price plus a few (not asked for) extras added on at full retail price (towbar, new CD player, aftermarket 3yr warranty etc) with a total price of somewhere around $13k.GTFO

I did a bit of research on these mystery shoppers, they are normal folk employed to go out to dealerships and ask questions, lots of questions and then hand over their results to ford who then follow up. its a ploy used in a lot of retail industries apparently.supposed to keep the staff on their toes

As they're harder to find, once you find them you stick with them. Only reward the good ones (repeat business, referrals etc) and never give the sh*t ones any business at all. Simple.Particularly the 2nd hand sales guys. Really bad. You are best to form a relationship with them once you can see they are decent and they know they can't bullsh*t you. I have had such a relationship with my dealer and I've bought 5 new cars off them over abour 10 years. When I walk in there they are respectiful as I know them all. This might be the exception, but I don't think so. There are others out there.

If you dont receed the bushes the side arms can touch the irs cradle and cause noise transfer
