Bought my car ages ago from the one here in WA.If there were obvious faults during test drive no way would I be buying the car until they were fixed! is that normal for a dealer to leave things until car has been sold? Sounds like they might be in the "too hard basket" and hoping to flog the car anyway then drag their feet come service time? When I opened this thread all I saw was "Titan Ford" and "Steve..." I thought it was you mate!I've had a few dealings with Ford dealers here in WA as well mate... Not great either. But in saying that, the worst dealership I've ever been too was a Expensive Daewoo dealer a few years ago. Sadly, followed closely by a Ford dealer...It's such a shame that dealers have such negative attitudes towards potential clients. I'm about to drop $50K+ on an FPV and I can already tell I'm going to get the, "Get outta here kid... You'll never be able to afford one of these..." type treatments...I'm 26, work full-time and have 2 other casual jobs plus I study at University. I have more than enough money for one of these cars but I can already tell it's going to be difficult to find a dealer that's not going to dismiss me immediately as a young hoon out to test drive a car that's out of his league...It's quite frankly disgusting...Sorry to hear about your story Steve. Wouldn't let me even test drive it. Compare that to the service I received when I bought my car from Audi centre in Sydney. Treat their customers, young or old, exactly the same. I loved rocking up to Dale Ford a couple weeks later and now they've closed down LOL.

robbay91 Member 68 Member For: 12y 5m 3d Gender: Male Posted 04/02/13 01:07 PM Share Posted 04/02/13 01:07 PM I went to sydney city ford in Zetland a couple times, never asked them a question never sat down with them to talk busness just look around at the cars. last year I went in to ask about a ford ranger base model and the new guy there says "$30K, the only reason we have up priced the car is because the boys around back say your a time waster since they have seen you come in here a few times" I was so shocked I just walked out of there, 4 weeks ago I went back with my old man looking to buy an xr6 turbo and not one of them came up to us, just looked at us and ignored us, 3 weeks later I bought a 2010 50th anniversay xr6 t ute off toyota for $28K, he had no worrys letting me test drive friendly asit makes me not want to buy another ford again, if I have to deal with those type of d*ck heads

But you won in the end cause you walked out and didn't give them your business. If I get a bad vibe anywhere I just simply walk out and spend it elsewhere.
