Do lemon laws apply in this situation? Was it 34k with 14km or 14 thousand?

Have they fitted the bushes correctly?? If you dont receed the bushes the side arms can touch the irs cradle and cause noise transfer

honestly mate I wouldn't know but I will tell them and find out..

imagine if they did..lol sorry buds it 14,000kms

after reading maybe 3 times, it's a bit clearer :)

take it to a diff specialist and see what they say the diff noise is

hahaha my bad buds,I took it to my mate at preston autos & diffs...

Spoke to my mate and now apparently there changing the diff again, they would have a bar of anyone giving them pointers or advice into what the problem is? they keep saying,"no" its the diff?? see how it goes when he gets it back?

I think you should just go and beat the sh*t out of the dumbarses...it's the only plausible solution.

BTW the fact that your mate still has tread on his tyres is no proper indication that it's not being thrashed.

Sure did much to my wifes embarrassment. Rocked up and asked if I could get a valuation on the g6et to trade for the xr6 t I was interested in. The manager came out saw me turned around and walked back in.....

PERFECT, love your work

Hi guys just thought id have a bit of a rant on the people that work at Binks Ford sunshine...my mate bought his 2010 fg xr6t manual from them a year to date,he paid 34k with 14kms.Now when he took it for a test drive he heard a noise coming from the rear but asked and they said that it was normal..ok,the car still had warranty so my mate didn't mind.two months down the track he took it to get serviced and what do you know, diff bushes! anyway few months went buy the he noticed a winding noise from the back, took it in and what do you know the diff was shagged!they replaced that and said also the diff bushes were stuffed again..got it back maybe a month later he heard a rattle coming from underneath the bonnet, took it back and they said that the vvt or something like that snapped a tooth and had to get changed asap..got it back, two days later the diff started sweating and knocking aswell?? took it back and what do you know, diff was rubbish and the uni's are fooked..took it back and then the next day when he was told to pick it up,he arrived with the car on the hoist and the guys said ohh this diff is stuffed aswell and so are the uni's? wtf? when he purchased the car the tyres were in not bad condition but thought he would put brand new tread so he doesn't get done by the popo..this car still has the same tyres on it and is babied all the time with the occasional foot down..today I get a call from him saying the diff that they put in last week is making the same clunking noise...what do you know?? diff stuffed for sure?? now what the hell does he do in this circumstance? it has to be human error, right?

id love to go in there and beat the sh#$ outta every dumbass mechanic in there but will not solve the problem? im assuming the problem,if there just replacing the center isn't the issue? has to be something before it right? but what the hell else is before it but the tail shaft ? maybe axles? we really dont know what to do for him? the car is still under warranty....

cheers

Were new parts even fitted? One would suspect nothing was done at all, they just said so and away you go. No way on earth a diff can fail so regularly. I would rate it as impossible unless old mate is the burnout king of the century ------ which it seems like he isnt

Particularly the 2nd hand sales guys. Really bad. You are best to form a relationship with them once you can see they are decent and they know they can't bullsh*t you. I have had such a relationship with my dealer and I've bought 5 new cars off them over abour 10 years. When I walk in there they are respectiful as I know them all. This might be the exception, but I don't think so. There are others out there.

When I went looking for my G6ET, the responses varied from outright ignoring me (I was 20, almost 21 at the time), I had a couple who shadowed me, obviously thought I was shifty and worried I'd do something to the cars and then there were the two who basically made a bee line for me. Both of them were older males (at least 40+) and when I commented on it, both had similar replies along the lines of never ruling out a potential customer. I guess age and experience is what is required sometimes.

In the end I actually felt sort of guilty for the guy who I didn't buy it off, out of the eight dealerships, there were only two that were any good.

from what they were saying 'yes' there all brand new genuine ford parts?? they even show him what was removed and what is being replaced? got me f@#$d..

anyway ford are trying to come up with a solution and have called in some big guns to come and assess the car..they came and went, there final analysis was that there is nothing wrong with the car at all,but clearly driving out of the dealership there's a vibration from the ass end but they said they didnt hear anything while test driving it? what does he do in this situation? sell it,but he doesnt want some other poor guy to have the same dramas?
