Yeah MAP reading is pressure in manifold (manifold absolute pressure), including normal air pressure on Earth (barometric absolute pressure/BAP) as mentioned above.

+1 for get a real boost gauge, make it a good brand too not cheapo otherwise you will have 2PSI of boost when the engine is off like me, LOL.

Ok so that gauge in that pic was absolute pressure, but now I found actual boost gauge on obd2 app, and it's showing 4hg/in which I about 2.06psi so where is the rest of the pressure ??

Please help I am confused ...

Boost solenoid was done couple of months ago and TB was cleaned too , but I'll do it again anyway, how do I get crossover ported and polished ??

And how does diff bush affect boost ?

And I never touched turbo oil feed so why it's causing over-boosting??

Sorry I asked too many questions as I am not familiar to turbos

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

Gary

mate - honestly, they will send you out for a left handed screwdriver in a minute. Port and polish the crossover ....... jeez, someone is polishing something else saying that....although there are one or two enthuisiasts from the "top secret think tank" ...who think 0.5MM ground out of the crossover is going to produce 50KW. ( No names but there aliases are Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne).....

Diff bush and oil line feed....... think about it.

The MAP/BAP answer is the right one.

Go get a decent gauge and report back with the findings, I seen about 6psi when my ba was stock!

If you really feel then need call your local dyno shop and for $70-100 they will run it up and advise you how your cars going.

The gauge is a genuine Blitz one and was working when removed from a VLTurbo it was in that car for a week only .

My mind is just about to explode ... Yeah liked the answers on others forums, they are pretty much same but I am trying to get as much as info I can get ..

Cheers

Just checked and my boost logs have PSI=(MAP-BAP)/2.04 as the equation.

Why dont you just take to a decent tuner(not tuna) and get it looked at properly. You are fighting a loosing battle here. :hang:
