Hey Lads

I'm looking at doing a Centre/ Rear muffler removal to unleash a little bit of noise!

So. First, Centre muffler..

What would you boys suggest to replace this with? High-flow pipe? Hotdog? etc... thoughts and opinions?

Secondly, Rear muffler..

I'll be running a straight pipe here for that nice deep noise/ back crackle we all love!

Please feel free to add anything you want to say, or offer any advice!

The car goes in next week wednesday for the centre/ rear.

And in 4 weeks for a tune.

Cheers :)

A number of guys are removing the rear mufflers and getting a better note. I would probably try this first before doing the centre. Just because of the positive feedback I've read.

Here is a youtube clip I just came across that might be useful for you.

Also threw in David from KPM's video comparing his exhaust options.

I believe anything with forced induction (supercharger/ turbo) needs re-tuning after re-alterting the AFR, eg. through cold air intakes/ intercooler and exhausts. So yes I believe you will need a Re-tune.

I got the car going in monday morning 8.30am to have the rear muffler taken out and a straight pipe to be replaced, and then the centre muffler to be taken out and replaced with a high-flow centre.

I'll post a video of it all when it's complete :)

Then just need to sit tight for 4 weeks till I get my tune done

Cat back does not require tune , if you change cats you will need a retune , I got a cat back 4 inch into duel 3 and it's sounds great a lot better than the bi modial disconnect . autotech fabricated it , and I bought it off a aff member for a great price :)

Hey Boys,

So heres an update.

Had my exhaust played around with!

Ended up just doing the rear muffler delete as well as deleting the centre muffler.

They added a straight pipe into 3.5inch tips.

It actually sounds ridiculous! Anyway, here are some pics! I'll get some vids up soon as well after work today

:)

(ps. excuse the dirty state of my vehicle)
