Cheer's for that guy's...

griffo how is the ride with these spring's compared to the stocky spring's ?? Firmer ??

I'll wait and think thing's over the weekend, and make a decision, still most likely going the SSL Front's, SSSL Rear combo, going by the look's so far...It's about the right height and look im going for...

hey mate, I just did the ssl/sssl last weekend too, its slightly firmer than stock, but nothing to worry about, And the ride still being nice was my main concern.

In my opinion it sits perfect now.

Also I got an all wheel alignment buy a top suspension shop here, they shimmed my front arms up nicely, and he said the rear was going to be fine.

Go for it.

Cheer's Seaton thank's for that mate, makes me even more happy that I'll be making the right choice by going that combo, might even duck off tomorrow to Suspension City and pick some up...

I'll let you know how I go...

Just to mix it up a bit. Have you considered the kings HD springs. I tried the above springs myself but found them too soft(similar to standard) and the rears bottomed out a couple of times with shortened bump stops. So I changed the springs to: Custom Fronts SSSLHD minus 10mm -sits at 345mm, Rears SSLHD sits at 345mm. Even with the car fully loaded (full tank of fuel, boot completely full and 4 passengers - recent holiday) not once has the car bottomed out. If you want to compare the ride stiffness is the equivalent of Holdens FE1.5(sorry for mentioning that name). Not knowing under what conditions you will be using the car for it is worth considering. Personally since putting in the HD springs I wouldnt go back to the standard King Springs.

Looks great and drives great! Little bit more firm, but I like the way it is at the moment... will find out this weekend when doing some towing if it's too low... I think it will be fine1

Cheer's guy's much appreciated, droF what's the price difference between the Normal King's SSL / SSSL vs the same in HD ??

You sure you noted your spring's correctly too ?? SSSLHD Front's and SSLHD Rear's ?? or did you mean it the other way round ??

That is correct, the HD part numbers are designed for the V8 models, so you have to go the next step down when fitting a HD coil to the front of a 6T in order to achieve the same height

My understanding is no difference in price.

And Pat is correct in relation to the HD springs. I found out the hard way.
