I got 50,000kms out of them, but they were an absolute liability in the wet. N/A's shouldnt break traction at 80km/h!agree'd mine always break traction in the wet Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/83792-20-tyres-which-brand-is-good/page/2/#findComment-1357409 Share on other sites

In the wet, the traction control stays ON. I had a scary incident in the wet with the Achillies but the corner I spun on had a dip mid corner and I prob was going a bit too fast trying to make the light.. But apart from that they have been great.. Now with about 1-2mm before indicators the car skates around soon as I hit boost on stock fg. Not overly great in the wet either, plus tyre life is ordinary! The next I buy will be achilles atr sports. yet to decide whether I go series 1 or series 2 though. But I have 2 dunlop sports max gt's sitting in my shed I got for free going on in a month or . Hopefully they're pretty good. I think they're the tyres Henz had on his rota's and he liked them Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/83792-20-tyres-which-brand-is-good/page/2/#findComment-1366649 Share on other sites

Grip in the wet is bloody awesome. Even in the dry it will hold 360 in 2nd on a good surface!I went back to a bridgestone 275 for a few weeks, first bend in the wet turned into a massive drift, in the dry could bang 4th and brushfire streets easily.
