spinr33 Donating Members 964 Member For: 13y 6m Posted 04/02/13 06:02 AM Share Posted 04/02/13 06:02 AM That's bad luck mate I used to live in the country and dodge kangaroos everyday for 2 years in my skyline only ever hit 1 when I hit it did do like 3k of damage but what I'm saying is I doubt you will hit another.And as for the bull bar if you hit one hard in a low car with a bullbar it will flick in into the windscreen or bend and smash the car anyway I wouldnt bother.We had a work four wheel drive with a bull bar yes when it hit kangaroos at say 60-70km was fine over that bends the bull bar in they get stuck in between the bars etc just something to keep in mind mate.Maybe invest in the electronic sound emitting shoo roo not the sh*t stick on type its around $350 from memory a lot of company's in the country fitted them to every truck and van in the fleet and swore by them said they never hit one since and they had a lot of vehicles on the road.
