VG - Just try to build yourself a bridge and get over what happened 12 (!) years ago.

I'm looking forward to reading another article this year on the ratio of RBT's done in the area to people charged. Last year it was hilarious! Was something like 500 RBT's and 3 DUI's.

Why aren't the Police in Saturation mode every weekend in Braddon? The are burnouts, sexual assults, drinkspiking, etc every weekend.

Cro,

NSW HWP are very active tween glbn and Canberra, I imagine it isa the same on the other side of glbn too.

Tell me about it, I've only made like 2 trips down and back (out of 30+) when I haven't seen a HWP car.

I don't mind, I stick a bit over the limit and don't go crazy as my license saving hand brake is with me most of the time...

Which way would be the best way in to Canberra to avoid all the traffic.

I need to go to Fyshwick, Monash, O'Mally, and Jerrabomberra.

I was thinking turning off to Braidwood road (wakefield park), and heading into Canberra through Queanbeyan.

Maybe even the princess hwy and over the clyde into Queanbeyan.

Don't think going down the Federal Hwy would be a good idea because of the traffic and police road blocks.

I'd be taking the first turnoff to Queanbeyan, umm I think its Sutton Road? This road takes you to the back of Queanbeyan. From there you can go on to Fyshwick via the Airport road, or Jerra thru Qbn, then either Monash or O'malley whatever takes your fancy.

The only problem with traffic atm is around EPIC and Northbourne avenue. If you can avoid this area completely, you will have no probs.

The Feds and the vehicle inspectors usually set up a vehicle inspection station/RBT just outside Eagle Hawk every Summernats, this can create hold ups sometimes...... if you take the Sutton Road turnoff you will avoid all this! :smilielol:

Hope this helps.

Why do I bother ?

If you believe anything written in the Canberra Times about anything Police do then you should be in the bridge construction business. Facts usually assist in an argument, not fiction. I am yet to see a drink spiking in Braddon.

Good to see another thread being hijacked

There is certainly some nice veehikals here for it. And two nice XR6Ts belonging to VG's work mates.

Got to say the one way to ruin a good T is to paint it Acid Rush, but to then go and stick a sticker down the side of it. VG you people should be ashamed of yourselves. That has to be worst than any rice.
